The view is amazing. Easy to reach from the freeway, close to the ferry for the Cinque Terre, Hotel Corallo is centrally located in La Spezia, 10 minutes by bus from the train station. Beautiful grounds, patio and pool. The mattress was very firm. Had a great stay and met really awesome people.

Didn't do any sight-seeing in La Spezia so can't comment on it. The rooms were small however we were traveling with very large suitcases! The all-day shuttle to the town and back was very much appreciated.

La Spezia is a great place to base out of to visit the Cinque Terre and other places nearby. Good location, very comfortable room with a big bed and a balcony, extremely clean and with everything you might need. We particularly loved the balcony as it's the perfect place for a late dinner or an early breakfast before heading to Cinque Terre. There are very regular trains to all the Cinque Terra towns from la Spezia. Yeah, there are stairs. Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only. Plan so you can see at least three of the five villages. Try a trail with proper gear, they are challenging, a lot of up and down, though well maintained.
