In addition to these, a myriad of facilities that are available at Cesenatico Camping Village, which is a short distance away: supermarket, barber-hairdresser-beautician, emergency medical service, restaurant-pizzeria, tennis and mini-soccer courts, entertainment program with mini – junior and teen club, pool complex with a big swimming pool, Jacuzzis and sauna. Yes you need a cap which I haven't seen before in pools like this. The best bit of the holiday, we hardly heard another English voice. The camping management didn't seem to care. Please note that the city centre is 3 km far from us but it's easy and safe to reach it by bycicle or by walk thanks to a bicycle path that runs from the campsite direclty to the city centre. We attempted to get there on bikes but gave up as the road is very busy and steep. Only one trouble. The pool was perfect for young families, water no deeper than knee depth so we felt comfortable letting our little one run around without too much supervision. We booked our stay through Canvas holidays, but the caravans were run by a French company Toohapi. Lavatory is clean, the camp shop provides everything you need (aperol, dry ham and great cheese) and the view from the cliff is amazing. I highly recommend the Rilke Trail, which you can follow right from the campsite. The pool at the other campsite was pretty poor, but they had a good Spar shop and restaurant if you didn't feel like going too far. All in all after the initial disappointment from the price I'd recommend the camp as a nice place to stay and we'll probably stay again on our trips south (we'll make sure to bring swim caps).
