The Bird is a laid back bar & restaurant with a staff of humans who really and truly give a damn about you having a good time. The fries were tasty but oddly small though and kinda cold.This review isn't fair because I am American, but as one used to glutton, this wasn't anything new. If you need to use the bathroom erm.. just go somewhere else. I've been there twice since I moved to Berlin and I think this is the best burger place here in BERLIN. Good food.We had had curry dogs and goulash, so when my daughter-in-law said we had to have a hamburger I figured it would be a typical German restaurant that she had in mind--but no--not at all...but it was one of the best burgers I have ever had.

I have moved back to the United States, and I long for this burger. Also the dried steak on rock was phenomenal. There’s also the aforementioned chicken wings (whose sauce can be made to a variety of spice levels), salads, steaks and chilli cheese fries.

It was okay for me personally the english muffin was too small for the actual patty and my burger just fell apart as I ate it.. Had the ginger ale and erm it tasted very watered down and kinda gross lol. HOWEVER, if you're homesick for the states or if you've never had a full-on USA-chanting plate heaped with artory-blocking goodness, this is the place for you. Food was delicious and portions were big.

Burgers are huge, fries are great, waitstaff was great too. (smh)Okay bad things first.

Delicious burger, not sure about the English muffin bun but given how thick the beef patty is, it's probably a good thing so you can actually bite into it.
