Owned by our own Sir Richard Branson, this is one of the most luxurious and exclusive game lodges in the world.It is located amid the breathtaking landscapes of Sabi Sands and combines exceptional service with a superb safari experience – what could be better?If you have a head for heights, stay in the unique Rock Lodge, high above the reserve, where all rooms have beautiful panoramic views and are carved out of the Ulusaba rock itself. It’s probably unfair to name particular staff, because everyone was exceptional. The villa was separate from the Rock Lodge is Downtown Abby in Africa. David and Liam are a fantastic team together and making our guests laugh is a daily occurrence for them, we’ll be sure to pass your comments onto them.

Our send off with both guys standing on their trucks waving us off like dancing hornbills will never be forgotten. The granite rock of the 'koppie' is a key feature in the design of the main lodge and each of the rooms has the colours of a different African tribe. After a short ride in our jeep up to Rock lodge (going up and down rock as they call it is a fun way to start our drives!!). You truly feel that you are visiting a family, our ranger Kyle and tracker Conny, truly cared about our experience and wanted us to love the bush like they do. They were both very welcoming and chatted to us whilst we enjoyed a drink and filled in the necessary paperwork.
